There were no daisies to fill up her hair
Instead she used gum from beneath my old chair
I tried hard to stop her and teach her some sense,
But had no luck in changing her mind

She tangled it up till all was in knots
And swirled it around to raise up some spots
When all work was done she shaved it all off
And chewed till there was none left behind
